We collect information you provide directly and information generated through use of the service.

• Account data: email address and authentication information used to create and access your account.
• Profile data: display name, optional gender selection, and subscription status fields.
• User content: outfit photos and optional context notes you submit for analysis.
• Analysis data: generated scores, recommendations, and consultation history.
• Technical data: app version, device/platform metadata, and error logs for reliability.
• Purchase/subscription metadata: entitlement and plan state from billing providers.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide core features like AI outfit scoring and personalized recommendations.
• Store and sync your profile, consultations, and account settings across sessions.
• Process subscription access and restore purchases where applicable.
• Improve product performance, reliability, and model quality.
• Protect users and prevent abuse, fraud, and service misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce platform terms.

4. AI and Image Processing

When you submit an outfit image, Outera sends the image and optional context (such as occasion or vibe) to our analysis pipeline to generate results.

Outfit images may be processed by third-party AI providers strictly to return analysis responses to you. We do not publicly display private uploads without your permission.

5. How We Share Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to run the service, including with:

• Infrastructure and database providers (for example, Supabase) for authentication, storage, and app operations.
• AI processing providers used to generate analysis outputs from submitted outfit images.
• Subscription and payment platforms (including Apple App Store, Google Play, and subscription service providers) for billing and entitlement management.
• Security, analytics, and operational tooling providers acting on our behalf.
• Authorities or counterparties when legally required or to protect rights and safety.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and consultation data while your account is active, and as otherwise needed for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes.

If you request account deletion in the app, we delete or anonymize your account data in accordance with our technical and legal obligations.

7. Your Choices and Rights

• Access and update profile fields inside the app.
• Delete your account from the app, which removes your associated consultations from active systems.
• Manage subscriptions through Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or portability where required by law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your data. No system is fully immune to risk, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at /privacy and revise the Last Updated date above.

10. Children

Outera is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). If you believe a child provided personal data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
